The client’s kitchen in Lucan was outdated and lacked the functionality and visual appeal they desired. The space felt dark, cramped, and disconnected from the rest of the home, with an outdated pine wood finish, tiled backsplash, and old cabinetry. The overall design no longer suited the modern family’s lifestyle, and it failed to meet their need for a stylish yet highly functional space. The goal was clear: create a modern, sophisticated kitchen that would transform the space into a bright, inviting, and functional hub.
We wanted to honor the kitchen’s structure while completely revitalizing its appearance and functionality. The design focused on a clean, contemporary aesthetic with a touch of luxury, all while ensuring the kitchen remained practical for daily use.
Bespoke Sage Blue Cabinetry : The new Chatham Fjord cabinetry in a soft, muted blue provided the kitchen with a calm, modern feel. This color was chosen to evoke a sense of serenity while remaining versatile enough to complement the rest of the home.
Premium White Quartz Worktops : The Perlino White Quartz worktops brought in a sleek, modern element that brightened the space. Not only were the quartz surfaces visually striking, but they were also durable and easy to maintain—perfect for a busy family kitchen.
Brushed Brass Hardware : The brushed brass handles and gold-tone tap added a luxurious touch and created a warm contrast against the cool tones of the cabinetry. These hardware pieces were selected to elevate the kitchen’s look and feel while providing lasting durability.
Seamless Integration and Layout : We focused on creating a layout that maximized functionality while maintaining the open feel of the space. Integrated appliances, smart storage solutions, and plenty of counter space made the kitchen both practical and beautiful.
